Why can't people get along? *Exasperated sigh*?

This is a very good question.It has probably been around as long as religion has.I am a Christian, and that is what matters to me.I am not perfect but I work on getting better everyday.This task is hard enough without me worrying about the next persons belief, much less wanting to hurt them about it.Personally I feel that there is only one God and that people worship him differently.Who's to say that any of us have it completely right?It is ridiculous to me that people go to such extremes to prove the next worshiper wrong.True lovers of God know that they have to make themselves right before trying to prove someone else wrong.
