How can you use Microsoft Excel to carry out sample mean, variance AND standard deviation calculations? ?

Please help. I'm really bad with Excel. I know the theory behind these statistical tools (standard deviation, mean, etc.) but I don't need to actually calculate them for this report. I'm allowed to use Excel for that. I don't know how to use excel to carry out these calculations. Please help. Big points!
