Where do state troopers take people they have arrested?

To the county jail where everyone else goes when they get arrested. Whatever county someone gets arrested in is where they will be locked up pending bond and/or initial appearance. Once they are sentenced if there is any active time they may serve it in the same county jail or they may wind up in one of the state prisons for more serious crimes (felonies). Federal crimes will land you in a Federal Pen.
