Angela Petrelli was one of the founders of Primatech, along with Daniel Linderman, Bob Bishop, Charles Deveaux and others. Pinehearst was Arthur Petrelli's secret project and company that the others were apparently unaware of. Mohinder worked for Primatech for a while in season 2, then Pinehearst in season 3. Maury Parkman worked for Primatech and was one of the founders. However, he was loyal to Adam Monroe, and the rest of the company turned against Adam because they didn't want him to wipe out the human race. Maury continued to work for Adam until he was captured and locked up in Level 5. He escaped at the same time as Knox and the others. He's mostly working for Arthur Petrelli out of fear - not only is Arthur incredibly powerful, but he can rip powers right out of people. Arthur provides some protection from Primatech but is a danger in and of himself.
