WORLD HISTORY HELP PLEASE!!!?

Desert and the nile river - The nile is a very fertile river and only within a mile or two of the river can any crops grow. There are ancient egyptian artifacts and ruins all along the nile which is where they stayed. The nile produced water for drinking and bathing. It produced the fastest form of transportation through raft and boat. Also it provided fertile land for farming and to let animals drink.
