He's not taking things any further, so what's with all the flirting and jealousy. Long question but need help?

I've been in a relationship like this before (or non-relationship, whatever you call it), and all I can tell you is that it is unhealthy. He sounds wonderful, a great deal of fun, and a good guy, but he is not ready for a relationship. If you keep hanging on, he will continue to do this--invite you over, string you along, and let you believe that he is almost ready to commit. This can go on for a long time, and it will keep you from maturing on your own and getting involved with other men who are ready for a relationship. I know it sucks, but I say end it.
